Derrick has been in the timber industry since 1995. He is a registered forester with the State of Arkansas with a forestry degree from the University of Monticello. He is a member of the Arkansas Forestry Association, Arkansas Timber Producers Association (Board of Directors), National Certified Forester Program, Forest Resources Association, Ozark Woodlands Owner Association, Farm Bureau County Board of Directors/Forestry Division, and named Arkansas Forester of the Year in 2006.

  Paul Oberbeck - Construction and
  Maintenance Supervisor

Paul joined the company in 2004 and has more than 30 years of mechanical and construction experience; 15 of which was with Kenworth Trucks and 6 years in the service as an Army Engineer. Paul is certified in all aspects of heavy duty truck repair.

  Rod Davis - Land Manager

Rod came on board with Ridgewood Timber in March 2007. He had been in the timber business for 15 years before taking a brief break. Rod is now a land manager in charge of land sales for Ridgewood Timber.

  Sherri Austin - Office Manager

Sherri has been with Ridgewood Timber since January 2007. She is new to the timber industry, but comes to us with extensive experience in corporate customer service as well as knowledge in accounting, computers, management, etc.

  Penny Gammons - Office Assistant

Penny has been with Ridgewood Timber since April 2008. She is also new to the timber industry. She has over 25 years experience in Accounting, Customer Service and Office Management. At Ridgewood Penny is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Data Entry.

  Stan Brewer - Equipment Operator

Stan Brewer has been with Ridgewood Timber since February 2008 on our Road Construction Crew. Stan operates our heavy equipment such as our Dozer, Excavator, Compactor, Dump Trucks, and Road Grader, with precision in the process of building roads. As part of our Road Construction Crew he is responsible for installation of BMP’s (Best Management Practices) according to Arkansas Forestry Commission guidelines. As a young man Stan entered the timber business by doing some logging with his father. Stan’s construction experience includes building of a Wal-Mart Distribution Center and construction of several major highways and other projects, too numerous to mention.

  Dave Milliken - Driver

Dave Milliken is the Truck Driver for Ridgewood Timber. Dave started driving a truck in the early 1980’s. Prior to working at Ridgewood, he worked at a Plastic Injection Molding company in Michigan for 20 years, of which he was a foreman for 10 years. After moving to Arkansas, Dave started driving a truck again and was hired in September 2007 and quickly proved himself as one of our valuable team members.

  Donnie Vinson - Loader Operator

Donnie began working for Ridgewood Timber in March of 2009 as the Batesville Woodyard Supervisor. He comes to us with 3 plus years experience in the timber industry as a Loader Operator and Mechanic. Donnie is a certified Diesel Mechanic and Truck Driver. He has been for many years.

Derek Brewer joined our team in August 2009 as an esteemed member of our Road Construction Crew; moving and operating our heavy equipment such as the Dozer, Excavator, Dump Trucks, Compactor and Road Grader building logging road for us. As part of our Road Construction Crew he is also responsible for installation of BMP’s (Best Management Practices) according to Arkansas Forestry Commission guidelines. Derek had been in highway construction for over 30 years.
